Annual Servicing

We’re here to keep your cars

When you’re a member of Hippo Protect, you’ll receive a routine service every year, or every 12,000 miles - whichever comes first. We’ll send you handy reminders to book in your service when it’s due, or you can give us a call if you hit the mileage cap.

About our servicing

All of our services are carried out by highly trained service technicians, who are experienced working with your vehicle's make and model.

Much like your regular garage, we have 2 service levels available - minor services and full services.

We even offer at home servicing! There’s no need to leave the house, we’ll send a technician straight to your door to conduct the service.

When you choose this option, there will be a small call-out-charge - no more than £15.

Level 1 and Level 2 servicing

When we carry out your service, we’ll check the parts listed below. If we need to top up or replace any other parts we’ll report back letting you know, unless we state below that we’ll top up or replace the parts, in which case they will be covered by our Hippo Protect.

We purchase a wide variety of vehicles from all over the country to ensure the best quality and value for our customers, all of our cars go through a thorough inspection process and if they do not meet our standards we do not sell them. We endeavour to inform our customers (where possible) the provenance of the vehicle they are buying and as such we will always inform you if the vehicle has previously been either an ex fleet or hire car. Should your vehicle be an ex hire/fleet car please do not be concerned as we would never value this vehicle differently when you come to part exchange it and there is no difference to the CAP valuation either.

You should try and estimate the distance you will travel as accurately as possible to try and avoid excess mileage charges at the end of your contract.
