After trading in the North West since 1906 as coal merchants the Preston family chose to take a different direction and entered the motor trade. After successfully running a Bedford car franchise they were then offered, and accepted, franchises from global manufacturers such as Mitsubishi, Land Rover, BMW and Mini.
In 2007 the Hippo Group brand was born and Hippo Motor Finance was created. Since the start of Hippo Group we have grown quickly and we believe that is down to our reputation for quick and helpful advice each step of the way.
